OFFshore Hub Presents at SUT Evening Technical Meeting

As part of the Industrial Transformation Research Hub for Offshore Floating Facilities (OFFshore Hub) Impact Engagement and Legacy program, academic and industry members of the team will be co-presenting at the the Society for Underwater Technology’s (SUT) first Evening Technical Meeting (ETM) of 2022. The focus of this ETM will be on high impact project outcomes from the OFFshore Hub wave-structure interaction research stream.

The event will take place at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel in Perth on February 16th and will present research related to recent advances in floating vessel response prediction and its benefit to industry. Academic and industry members of the OFFshore Hub will co-present on the following topics:

  • Tackling gap resonance during side-by-side offloading – Wenhua Zhao and Ian Milne (UWA)
  • Integrated offshore floating system response – Ian Milne (UWA) and Matt Zed (Woodside)
  • Data Informed decisions – Hugh Wolgamot (UWA) and Yuriy Drobyshevski (Shell)
