Associate Researcher
Guy recently submitted his PhD thesis entitled “Exploring simplified models for wave interaction with a shallowly submerged structure with application to ocean wave energy”, supervised by members of the Hydrodynamics group at UWA.
Guy is currently engaged in a short-term post-doctoral position within the Wave-structure interaction project stream at the OFFshore Hub. He is conducting and reporting on a series of model scale experiments to investigate both on-deck greenwater flows and gap response in side-by-side vessel configurations for various regular and irregular wave conditions.
