David Skene


Associate Researcher

Dr David Skene recently graduated from the University of Adelaide with a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Honours in Mechatronic Engineering. His PhD focused on modelling waves and sea ice, which are the largest floating structures in on the Earth’s oceans. His current work involves modelling the heading of the largest floating structure built by man: Shell’s Prelude. He has a passion for deploying the art of applied mathematics in practical engineering problems.
