Associate Researcher
Dr Colm O’Beirne completed a PhD at the University of Western Australia focussed on the Geotechnical performance of dynamically installed anchors in soft clay. After graduating, he worked for three years in industry as a geotechnical project engineer. He is currently a Research Fellow at UWA working on a wide range of physical modelling for offshore applications under the supervision of Phil Watson and Conleth O’Loughlin. Colm is an Associate Researcher in the OFFshore Hub assisting the Reliable Moorings and Risers project stream with the completion of their test program.
